1.)  Quickly, give us the title and genre of your book and a 30-word
or less tagline:

Firefly Island, an epic fantasy by Daniel Arenson.  Discover a world
at the edge of imagination.

2.)  Who is your favorite character and why?

The island itself; the novel’s setting.  In many ways, its a character too.

3.)  If you could change ONE thing about your novel, what would it be?  Why?

I CAN change things!  That’s the beauty of ebooks.  I choose to change
nothing.  This is the book; take it or leave it.  ;)

4.)  How can we contact you or find out more about your books?

Visit my website:

5.)  What can we expect from you in the future?

Flaming Dove, a dark fantasy, will be published later this year.  Its
tagline:  “Outcast from Hell.  Banished from Heaven.  Lost on Earth.”

6.)  And now, before you go, how about a snippet from your book that
is meant to intrigue and tantalize us:

The little girl huddled in the corner, weeping silently. Her hair
covered her face, strewn with straw. Lice crawled in her kerchief. Her
stockings were torn, and her toes peeked out of holes in her shoes,
blue with cold. She was hugging a doll–a frayed, tattered thing that
only her love made more than rags. Her teardrops soaked the toy as she
rocked it, and her lips mumbled into its ears. “It’ll be all right,
Stuffings, don’t be scared. I won’t let the monster hurt you… ”

The Drive-Thru Interview! Let the games begin!

Greetings all!

Yes, I know it’s been ages since I’ve written anything here.  I’ve been busy with writing (novel-length material here) and work, but now I’m ready to begin a new ‘experiment’ per se.  I will be seeking out independent authors and asking them seven questions about their books.  I will then post those interviews here.  I’m calling these question and answer sessions ‘Drive-Thru Interviews’ because I hope to keep them short, sweet and to the point.  I also hope that my questions and the answers I get will be as tempting as a vanilla milkshake or a bacon cheeseburger ;) .  So, here begins a new look for my blog with the wish that you will learn something and maybe even discover a new author to add to your library.
