1.)   Quickly, give us the title and genre of your book and a 30-word or less tagline:

Not What She Seems, a Romantic Suspense novel.  Steven Ashton, a billionaire from New York, and Emily Grant, on the run from the law… and when they meet he can’t help falling for her.

2.)   Who is your favorite character and why?

This fluctuates with my mood, but I’ll pick Steven Ashton.  He unknowingly gets entangled in Emily’s complicated life, and therefore becomes the target of a mad man.

3.)   If you could change ONE thing about your novel, what would it be?  Why?

I am pretty satisfied with my novel the way it is.  I did spend four years changing things, so I got it out of my system.

4.)  Give us one interesting fun fact about your book or series:

I wrote Not What She Seems in one week.  At least, the first draft.  Then it took me four years to revise and make it what it is today.  :o )

5.)   How can we contact you or find out more about your books?

My website is www.victorinelieske.com.

6.)   What can we expect from you in the future?

The driving force of my writing is the human relationship.  My stories all tend to have a clean romantic theme.

7.)   And now, before you go, how about a snippet from your book that is meant to intrigue and tantalize us:

Richard threw his cigarette out the window and gripped the steering wheel.  Emily could tell he was anxious, and didn’t know what to expect from him.  Richard started hollering.  “Did you hear that?  Did you hear what they just said on the radio?”  Emily was silent.  She knew he didn’t want to hear from her.  “They just said that Steven Ashton has been reported missing for three days!  How much did that guy at the hotel look like Steven Ashton?”

“I don’t know,” she said.  “It wasn’t him, Richard.”

“Shut up.  I want to hear this.”  He turned the radio up louder.
