Writing a Review

One of the best ways you can help draw interest to a book is to write a review of it.  The review doesn't have to be long or overly flattering, it doesn't even have to be worth five stars.  A review should be honest and from the heart.  If you liked the book, great!  Tell us why and what it was you liked about it.  If you didn't, then say so.  Both positive and negative reviews help potential readers decide if this book is right for them.  If they have no review to help give them an idea of the book, then they may not even consider it.

Recommending It To Others

Perhaps you have a copy of The Legend of Oescienne, but you're not the type to lend your books out, or you're out with your friends and you're talking books.  Feel free to recommend it to others!  One way to do this is to point them towards the website.

Passing It On

So you have a copy of The Finding, and it turns out you didn't really enjoy it, or you couldn't get into the story.  Do you know anyone who might enjoy it?  Feel free to pass it on to them.  Or maybe you did enjoy it, but you have a cousin or a friend or a relative who happens to love dragons and fantasy.  Please, feel free to lend it out or give it away.  I'd be more pleased knowing my book was being enjoyed than wondering if it was sitting on a shelf collecting dust. 

Taking A Copy On Long Trips

If you are traveling out of town, out of state or even out of the country, bring The Legend of Oescienne with you.  Perhaps you'll get the opportunity to discuss the plot with the person sitting next to you on the plane or a curious passerby on a beach in Hawaii.  You never know whose interest you might pique.

Become A Fan On Facebook

Simply become a fan of The Legend of Oescienne on facebook and encourage your friends to do so.  I keep it relatively updated on what's going on with series, so it's a good place to get news.

Thank you to all who have supported Jahrra, Hroombra and Jaax so far.  It has been quite an adventure bringing my world and characters to life, and to know their story is finally available for others to enjoy as well is something which astounds and amazes me each passing day.
